1. Who is responsible

Axion Amino is the responsible party for personal information processed through this site, in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). Contact us at genxai@novanadplus.com for any privacy request.

2. What we collect

Account and business details (contact name, work email, phone, business name, and — where provided — VAT or company registration number), delivery and billing addresses, order history, and marketing preferences. We record the research-use and age acknowledgments made at registration and checkout (with timestamp and IP address). We also keep limited technical logs needed to run and secure the site. Payment card details are processed entirely by our payment providers on their own systems and never reach our servers.

3. Why we process it (lawful basis)

To create and verify your research account and fulfil orders (performance of a contract); to meet legal and record-keeping obligations, including the compliance acknowledgments stored with each order; to prevent fraud and misuse (legitimate interest); and — only with your consent — to send product updates you can withdraw from at any time.

4. Verification information

Because we supply research buyers, we may process business-verification details to confirm you are a legitimate research or laboratory buyer. We use this only to assess and record account eligibility, and retain it as part of our compliance records.

5. Who we share it with

Only what fulfilment and operation require: delivery details with couriers, payment references with payment providers, and data with the infrastructure and email providers (operators) that run the service under our instruction. We do not sell personal information. Some providers may process data outside South Africa; where they do, we rely on POPIA’s conditions for trans-border transfers.

6. How long we keep it

Order, tax, and compliance records are retained for the periods South African law requires. Other account information is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Subject to POPIA, you may request access to, or correction or deletion of, your personal information, object to processing, or withdraw marketing consent. Email genxai@novanadplus.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).

8. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including row-level access controls on our database and encrypted transport. No system is perfectly secure, but we take appropriate steps to protect your information and to notify you and the Regulator of a compromise where the law requires.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the site (your session, cart, market, and the entry acknowledgment). Any analytics or marketing cookies remain off until you allow them.
